Safe Spaces. Creative Minds. Strong Communities.
Transformation Waco’s Afterschool Clubs give children a safe, supportive place to learn, grow, and have fun—right in their own neighborhoods.
Our Afterschool Clubs at Estella Maxey and Kate Ross offer hands-on learning and enrichment activities designed to inspire creativity, teamwork, and confidence.
Each afternoon, students receive tutoring and homework help, enjoy a healthy meal, and participate in activities that connect learning with life—like cooking, photography, gardening, robotics, and sports.
These community-based programs are offered at no cost to families, making afterschool opportunities accessible to children in East and South Waco.

More Than Afterschool — A Foundation for the Future
Afterschool Clubs provide more than a safe place to spend time. They are part of Transformation Waco’s commitment to building strong, thriving communities.
By engaging children in meaningful activities and connecting families to community resources, the Clubs:
Foster social and emotional growth
Reduce risk factors linked to juvenile delinquency
Strengthen family engagement
Build protective supports for lifelong success
Each site is supported by trained staff, ensuring every child has access to caring adults who understand their needs.
