Transformation Waco believes our best teachers should be recognized by the work they do, and we are committed to their talent development, retaining them in the classroom, and honoring their craft. Transformation Waco is one of the first in Texas to take advantage of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) to reward designated master teachers up to $31,000 in additional funding each year.
Transformation Waco is committed to developing the talent and capacity of teachers to create a pipeline of recognized, exemplary, and master teachers; recruiting teachers from all over the state to bring in the best educators for the students' needs; and retain highly effective teachers by recognizing their accomplishments and rewarding them for accelerating student outcomes.
Transformation Waco proudly announces that 11 teachers have earned TEA’s Teacher Incentive Allotment designations. Of the 11 TW teachers, four qualify as Master, four are designated Exemplary, and three received Recognized designations. Once a teacher achieves a TIA designation, they will receive a cash award annually for five consecutive years, beginning with the 2023-2024 school year.
